Notes - Dyfnwallon was the son of Arthgen. His reign commenced in 807, but it is not certain how long he ruled and he may have survived into the 830s. At this time Merfyn Frych of Gwynedd was beginning his territorial expansion and Dyfnwallon must have had problems in retaining his independence. He was succeeded by his son Meurig.
