Notes - Germany has 49 Holzhausens and Hesse has 10 Holzhausens so the village of Holzhausen, Kirchhain, Hesse-Nassau, Prussia, German had to change its name in 1934 to avoid the confusion. It was once the estate of the noble family of Rau zu Holzhausen so Holzhausen was renamed as Rauischholzhausen.
