    In 1900 Frank M. Truby, a photographer who came to Boonville in the late 1890's, published a view book of Boonville scenes that was one of a series of such view books he published about that time (the others were in Marshal and Sedalia). Truby operated out of the old Macurdy "Palace of Photography" on Morgan Street, but he apparently only remained in Boonville about five or six years. He filed for bankruptcy in November 1904.
