    Visitation for Rosemary will be 9 to 11 A.M. Tuesday morning May 31 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with a Rosary being recited at 9 A.M. Mass of Christian burial will follow the visitation at 11 A.M. Burial will be in St. Martins Catholic Cemetery in Martinsville.

    Rosemary M. Larm was born March 18, 1932, in Boonville, MO., the daughter of George Lang and Minnie Vollmer Lang. She married Gerald C. Larm on October 6, 1953, at St. Martins Catholic Church in Martinsville. Rosemary loved the outdoors. She always had a big garden, beautiful flowers and lots of chickens. Many people enjoyed her farm fresh eggs. She was a devoted member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She learned to play the piano and organ at St Martin’s School as a young girl and was dedicated to being an organist at S.S. Peter and Paul all of her adult life. She found joy working with people for music at masses, funerals and weddings. She and Gerald volunteered to help with many things at church, especially peeling potatoes for the annual Turkey Dinner. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She was employed as a nurse’s aide in her younger years, and was later employed at Boonville Public Schools in the lunchroom. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.

    Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, George and Minnie, husband Gerald, brothers, Leonard, Edward and John Lang, sister, Edith Grissum, son-in -law, Steve Moser and daughter-in-law, Nancy Larm. She is survived by her sons, Charles Larm and Daniel (Tina) Larm of Boonville and daughters, Judy Moser (Dale Dinwiddie) of Boonville and Linda (Randy) Steele of Glenn Carbon, IL., and Sister Lucy Lang of Independence, MO. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Stephen (Mary Helen) Moser, Jr., Jessica Leible, Marlana (Brett) Zank, Nathan (Breann) Larm, Joe and Danielle Steele, great-grandchildren, Robert Thull, Tony Moser, Ruthie Moser, Kylie Dickenson, Landon and Harper Zank.

    John Wilbur Lang was the son of George W. Lang and Minnie (Vollmer) Lang. He graduated from Pilot Grove High School in 1952. John joined the U.S. Army and served his time in El Paso, Texas. He married Anita M. Hartman in Tipton, Missouri, May 17, 1955 and they are the parents of five children. John farmed his entire life in the Blackwater- Lamine area. He was very active in his community, serving on the Blackwater School Board for nine years and as Road Commissioner for the Blackwater-Lamine Special Road District. John was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Boonville Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Laura Patterson, his brothers, Leonard and Edward Lang, and his sister, Edith Grissum. He is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, two sisters, his son-in-law, nine grandchildren and a great-grandson. He died at University Hospital in Columbia.

In 1952, at age 18, she married the love of her life, James Valentine Bock of Pilot Grove, Missouri. Dorothy and Jim were married for 69 years.

    Dorothy and Jim moved to the Kansas City area shortly after their wedding and became active parishioners at St. Therese Catholic Church in Parkville, Missouri. With their family growing, they moved to south Kansas City and were early parishioners at St. Regis Catholic Church. Upon moving to Laurie, they joined St. Patrick’s. Dorothy and Jim served as Marriage Preparation Leaders, assisted with marriage annulments, and were leading advocates for the Pro-Life movement. Dorothy and Jim visited and brought Holy Communion to many people in their homes and in the hospital. Dorothy was always willing to help anyone in their time of need. She would drop everything to help others and constantly put others’ needs before her own.

    Dorothy’s greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother. Dorothy went above and beyond to make every holiday or celebration special. Dorothy and Jim hosted a “cousins’ camp” at their home at the Lake of the Ozarks in the summers for all their grandchildren. The volume and quality of the cinnamon rolls Dorothy made for every cousins’ camp is legendary. When she wasn’t taking care of her family, Dorothy liked to square dance. She was an excellent dancer and loved to match her dress with Jim’s western shirt. The puffier her skirt, the better! Dorothy enjoyed listening and singing to country music and developed a fondness for popcorn and ice cream. Dorothy liked to play cards and had a beautiful laugh and glowing personality.

    As the leader of a large family, Dorothy was a model for organization and logistics. With seven kids and a husband to take care of, Dorothy spent many hours cooking, cleaning, and tending to her family’s needs. Dorothy did it with great love and grace. She made all of her family feel extra special. Dorothy remained close to her brother Bob Lang and his wife Alpha of Fayette, Missouri, as well as Jim’s seven siblings and their families.

    Dorothy stayed in shape by walking vigorously, usually every day. She often prayed the rosary for her children and grandchildren during her walks. She also kept a list of those for whom she needed to say extra special prayers beside her chair and received many calls from others asking her to add someone to her list because she was known for having prayers that could go straight to Jesus. Her faith was manifested in her sweet, loving personality. Dorothy was preceded in death by her infant son

    Dorothy was preceded in death by her infant son Michael Anthony Bock, who is buried in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pilot Grove, Missouri.

    Survivors include her husband Jim Bock of Laurie, Missouri, daughters Kathy Scaletty (Rick) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Patti Busse (Dale) of Reeds Spring, Missouri, Becky White (Gary) of Kansas City, Missouri, Tina Kramer (Chris) of Camdenton, Missouri; sons Joe Bock (Sue Lyke) of Columbia, Maryland, Tim Bock (Becky) of Webster Groves, Missouri, John Bock (Laura) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. In addition, she leaves 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

    The family would like to thank Kali Hood, Lake Regional Hospice Team, Fr. John Schmitz, and the many church members, neighbors, and friends who have supported Dorothy and Jim in this journey.

    Services will be held on Thursday, July 28th at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Laurie, MO. Visitation will start at 9:30 with a rosary at 11:00 and Mass at 11:30. A luncheon will follow at the church.

    In lieu of flowers, if desired, friends may make a contribution to National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church or Water.org

Isabel served as Financial Director for the City of Blue Springs for 25 years, retiring in 1999. She was a 53 year member of St. John LaLande Catholic Church-and in that time she had served on the Altar Society and helped start the school lunch program. Isabel was a past president of the GFOA and volunteered her time at Vesper Hall and as a secretary for Allis Chalmers Retirement Association. She was preceded in death by her parents.     Mary Ann was born on September 16, 1943 the daughter of Leo Dueber and Mary Magdalene (Lang) Dueber. She graduated from Pilot Grove High School in 1961.

    Mary Ann was married to Jess Lee Wooldridge Jr. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville on August 8, 1970. In this union, two children were born, Gregory Harold and Denise Leann (Renato) Durham. Besides her children, Mary Ann is survived by her sister, Joyce (Bill) Bryan, three granddaughters, Tessalie, Coralie and Evalie, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and some of the best friends a person could ask for. She is preceded in death by her parents.

    Although Mary Ann and Jess' marriage was dissolved many years ago, they continued to be close and supportive of each other throughout the years. Jess was very involved during Mary Ann's health difficulties and gave her great care.

    Mary Ann was an amazing cook and baker and often made desserts for friends, family, and co-workers. She was a major Chiefs and Royals fan. If a game wasn't on, then Elvis, The Rolling Stones or The Beach Boys would be playing as she loved music and dancing. She was a lover of animals large and small and regularly supported various organizations to help animals in need.

    Loving father and papa, Paul Lang, 58 of Boonville, Mo entered into the kingdom of heaven on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. Paul loved to make his family laugh, and create memories by going on many trips across the country. His favorite trip location was anywhere with a beach and waves. His pride and joy was his granddaughter Layla. He would do anything to make her laugh and smile. On many occasions, he would tell her he was buying toys for himself, but he would give the toys to her instead. Paul's greatest accomplishment in life was his family. Family meant everything to him.

    Paul had the creative touch. He loved to collect knick knacks, build, shoot photography and learn new cooking/coffee recipes. His photography skills were often sought by his children and granddaughter. He could see the good in everything he did.

    For most of his life, Paul farmed with his father, Edward Lang. He enjoyed being outside, and exploring the beauty of God's creation.

    Christmas was Paul's favorite holiday. He loved going to Christmas in the Park in Lee's Summit, and taking day-trips with his family. Making chocolate peanut clusters was his specialty. Hallmark movies were always playing in the house during Christmas. Taking weekly trips to the Dutch Bakery in Tipton brought a smile to his face every time.

    Through out his life he overcame many obstacles by Gods grace. He then devoted his life to his family, and following the path the Lord laid out for him through acts of kindness and giving. Paul touched those who came in contact with him.

    He is proceeded in death by his Mother, Margaret (Mickey) Oswald-Lang; Stepmother Margaret (Peg) Sloan-Lang; Father, Edward Lang; Sister MaryEllen Roth.

    He is survived by his brother, Stephen Lang of Wildwood, Mo; children, son Edward Lang of Boonville; daughter, Margaret Lang and granddaughter Layla Lang of Boonville; former wife of 31 years, Velma Haller-Lang of Syracuse. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date, which will be announced by the family. They ask that donations be made to Christmas in the Park in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
