Notes:

Louise (Lulu) Helen Schlotzhauer, oldest daughter and second child in the family of eight children of John and Fredricka Masel Schlotzhauer, was born on the farm near Harris Station southwest of Pilot Grove in Cooper County, Missouri on January 16, 1865. The railroad was under construction there and the wife of one of the construction workers named her after herself. Later that year, in November 1865, her parents purchased the 127 acre farm and it became known as "the home place". It is now owned and the residence of Marcin Schupp and his wife. Here Lulu Schlotzhauer grew up. She attended the Pleasant Green rural school and Johnston's School in Pilot Grove. The family was active in the affairs centered around Wesley Chapel Church.

On October 19, 1884, Lulu Schlotzhauer was married to Hamilton Lusk. They were married at Wesley Chapel by E. L. Frazier, a minister.

Notes:

Stella Lusk married Roy Wharton, a civil engineering teacher at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She joined the Baptist church after their marriage. They had no children. She died at the age of 51, a few months before her father's death. Her husband died in his garden about two years after Stella's death. Both were buried in Columbia, Missouri.

Notes:

Edgar Lusk, the oldest son, died at the age of sixteen of typhoid fever. He had attended the World's Fair in St Louis and became ill soon afterwards while working in the field. He never left the house again and died in a few weeks. He was buried in the Pilot Grove cemetery.

Boyd married Scott, Nellie Belle on 19 Jan 1910 in St Joseph Catholic Church, Pilot Grove, Cooper, Missouri, USA. Nellie was born on 11 Mar 1891 in Clarksburg, Moniteau, Missouri, USA; died on 18 Apr 1985 in Springfield, Greene, Missouri, USA; was buried after 18 Apr 1985 in Pilot Grove City Cemetery, Pilot Grove, Cooper, Missouri, USA. Notes:

Marshall Lusk served two years in the United States Army Signal Corps during World War I. After his discharge in 1919, he joined his brother, Boyd in the grain commission business in St Louis. He continued to be a grain broker and member of the Board of Trade in St Louis until his retirement in 1960. He was married in St Louis to Georgia Wooldridge, daughter of William J. and Lily Hooper Wooldridge, prominent residents of the Wooldridge community of Cooper County. They had no children. They lived in Florida after his retirement until 1972 when they returned to Boonville. Georgia died in December 1975 and Marshall Lusk died October 13, 1976 at the age of 82. Both were buried in the Pilot Grove Cemetery.

Marshall married Wooldridge, Georgia Ann on 7 Apr 1927. Georgia was born on 7 Feb 1905 in Wooldridge, Cooper, Missouri, USA; died on 10 Dec 1975 in Belleair Bluffs, Pinellas, Florida, USA; was buried in Dec 1975 in Pilot Grove City Cemetery, Pilot Grove, Cooper, Missouri, USA.
