    Samuel W. "Sammy" Campbell, 67, of Boonville passed away Sunday evening January 8 at Ashley Manor Care Center in Boonville.
    Visitation for Sammy will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 12 at Davis Funeral Chapel. A celebration of life will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 13 at Davis Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Purvis officiating. Private family inurnment will follow.
    Samuel Watson Campbell was born December 5, 1949 in Jacksonville, Mo. the son of Joseph William Campbell and Talitha Pearl Carson Campbell. Sammy loved to fish. He loved his job driving a concrete truck for Fischer Concrete Services. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.
    Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lee, Robert, Floyd Campbell and Pat Elder and a sister, Anna Pearl Teston. He is survived by his son, Charles Campbell and wife Gena of Boonville, daughter, Tina Smith and husband Greg of Ankeny, Iowa, brother, Joe Campbell and wife Judy of Wichita, Kansas, sisters, Edith M. Wood of Columbia, Missouri, Nina J. Gray and husband H.D. of Hardin, Illinois and Rita Baker and husband Henry of Brumley, Missouri. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Breck and Carson Campbell, Mariah, Breanna, Katelyn and Madison Smith.
    Memorials are suggested to the family to support local sports programs in honor of his grandchildren.
