WILLIAM BRENGARTH
William Brengarth, age 72, a well-known stockman and beekeeper of the Boonville community, died Tuesday, July 17, 1979 at the Boone County Hospital in Columbia following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 20, 1979 at the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. William Flanagan and the Rev. Tom McGrath will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the William Wood Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon Thursday until service time, with family visitation from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Brengarth was born Aug. 11, 1906, in Saline County, the son of Joseph and Rose Brown Brengarth. He married the former Catherine J. Neef in Boonville, Nov. 10, 1930, and she survives. He had lived in Boonville since 1933, and was a farmer, stockman and beekeeper. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Jones of Greely, Colo., Mrs. Ronald (Wilma) Bledsoe of Kansas City, and Mrs. Balwant (Joyce) Singh of Pittsburgh, Pa.; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. Ben (Dora) Kappeler of Slater and Mrs. Robert (Florence) McLacklan of Salisbury.
The family suggests memorials to the building fund of SS Peter and Paul Church.
