  Marie was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery. Marie gave her birth date as 1902, but John H. Dickinson (1902) said she was 9 years older. That would give Marie's birth date as 1895. The newspaper article on Marie's first marriage also gave her age at that date. The newspaper article referred to is from the Pioneer Register, Salem, SD Jan. 17, 1918.
