Father Yarnall, John W, b. 12 Oct 1797, Harrison, Kentucky, USA d. 24 Mar 1856, Pilot Grove Township, Cooper, Missouri, USA (Age 58 years) Relationship natural Mother Yarnall, Delilah, b. 1805, Harrison, Kentucky, USA d. 3 Feb 1856, Pilot Grove Township, Cooper, Missouri, USA (Age 51 years) Relationship natural Marriage 8 Dec 1817 Missouri Territory, St Charles, St Charles, Missouri, USA [3, 4] - This marriage date is a county formation record date error. It is well documented that John and his brother were living in Boonville Township after the War of 1812. Cooper County did not become a county until 1818 and was formed from Howard Couty which came into existence in 1816. It is apparent that this marriage record somehow remained with the parent county.
But then again John could have travelled back to St Charles County, Missouri Territory to marry his first cousin. In which case the date and location would be correct.
