  Obituary can be found in The Gazette, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tuesday, May 3, 2005 Survived by one son, one daughter, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and four sisters. Graduated from Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Employed as a grade school teacher in Marengo for over 25 years. Member of the PEO, National Honor Socity, Kappa Delta Pi and Gold Key as well as a member of First United Methodist Church in Marengo and active in the United Methodist Women's Association.
