      According to Lillian "Jen" Hamilton Jones and Ollie "Tye" Hamilton Lewis in a visit with them Friday, August 18, 1995; the children of Henry Jackson Hamilton and Neppie Blackstone never met their grandfather, Jacob Clark. They knew, and know, little about him and his family.

      He was getting ready to sell off his farm and livestock and planned to travel around to visit with his children. He was in his barn, harnessing his horses when he fell dead. Jen and Tye relate their memory of a horse rider arriving from Big Cabin, Craig County, Oklahoma with a telegram of his death. Henry Jackson and Neppie Blackstone Hamilton drove a wagon team to Lamine, Cooper County, Missouri to attend the funeral. Their son, "Jake", who was about three months old, was the only one of the children to go with them because of the limitations of space and the difficulty of the trip.
