• Notes

  Edgar Lusk, the oldest son, died at the age of sixteen of typhoid fever. He had attended the World's Fair in St Louis and became ill soon afterwards while working in the field. He never left the house again and died in a few weeks. He was buried in the Pilot Grove cemetery. (from notes sent by Bettie Wolfe 7/98)
