  John and Rebecca were married in Lincoln County, Missouri; just north of St Louis, Missouri. They moved to Ingram, Randolph County, Arkansas. In 1911, Rebecca died leaving John the single father of seven small children. In 1910, the whereabouts of John is unknown. He did remarry. In 1930 he is widowed living with his son David.
